So a while back I heard about this series and just decided it wasn't really a series I would be interested in. After the movie came out, it was always showing up on my Goodreads feed, and people were loving it, so I decided to give it a shot. .................................................................................................................................................... ★ ★ To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han I'll admit, the first book was pretty cute, but only because of Peter. I also love Kitty, who's probably the only actual character I laugh at or find relatable.  Margot annoyed me, I felt like she kept flipping between caring for Lara Jean and then suddenly getting upset for little things.  The love triangle, I knew there was going to be one, but I just wished it would've been executed better. .........................................................................................................

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman ★ ★ This book was not what I was expecting, it had a little bit of a darker undertone to it. The humor in the book was well written and made me laugh out loud. Some of the scenes in this book could have been written better or painted a more vivid picture of what was happening in some parts of the book. "He was alone when he died. Do they suspect foul play?" I actually did laugh out loud at this part of the book, because you just can't say stuff like that, and Eleanor had no idea it wasn't something you should say. Especially right after the family had lost their grandfather. This definitely is an adult book, I don't know if it was because I wasn't invested enough in the story or just wanted it to be over, but I feel like it wasn't a great interesting read. I might end up reading it again when I'm older.

Grim Lovelies by Megan  Shepherd ★ ★ I'm not sure what I was expecting to get from this book, and I had low expectations, but it ended up being underwhelming.  Too much happened too fast in the end of this book, it seemed like the author was trying to tie up everything before the book got to 400 pages.  The characters in this book honestly annoyed me so much and basically had no actual emotions or feeling. I had no interest whatsoever for the characters and what happened to them. It seemed like the author was trying to get every single minority for a character into this book, which I don't mind, if it's done well.  It was hard for me to picture the characters and the scenes in this book. It felt like it wasn't painting a vivid picture of what was going on. Goblins.......also annoyed me, they didn't really add much to the book except that they were helping and them they were gone?  The Paris setting was one of the few things I did love about this book. It always happens when an anticipated release has just come out or you have a ton of 'more important' things to do as non-readers say....the dreaded READING SLUMP You can feel yourself falling into not caring what happens to characters or just wanting the book to be over. Well do I have some tips on how to get out of a reading slump fast! 1. Reread a favorite book  Sometimes all it takes for you to get out of a reading slump, is to read about some familiar characters! I've done this with a few of the first YA books I read. 2. Watch a TV show or movie You have to be careful with this one, because if you get sucked into the void (Netflix), you might never come out. That said, it's always nice to just enjoy some TV!   3 . Listen to an audiobook You might not feel like reading, but it's nice to be able to listen to the book, anywhere...I've listened to audiobooks' whose narrators have made the books even better, with their amazing multiple vo...
