Mammoth by Jill Baguchinsky When I read books where characters continuously make poor choices, it irritates me and makes me feel bad for the character. I did enjoy the romance and the science part of this book. I think there need to be more books with main enjoy science and learning. It was nice to see that in this one. After finishing this book, I found that I was annoyed by the word 'awesome', it's said so much in this book that it starts to get tiresome. I enjoyed this book, and thought the idea of mammoths was a cute theme. I just wished there was more going on other then the usual side romance and an antagonist trying to hurt our main character is someway or form.  I received an Advanced Reader's Copy in exchange for my honest review

Dry by Neal and Jarrod Shusterman ★ ★ ★ This was one of my most anticipated reads for October, and I just don't know I felt about it!! I felt like as a 'thriller', this was an interesting book.  The kid gang that happened in this book felt like every dystopian book ever, which I find kind of irked me. This book was following all the other tropes in most books I've seen. One thing I didn't expect in this book was the amount of death and fear of characters dying in this book. It was sad to see Kelton's brother being shot by his father, and then for us to find out that he'd been staying in the bug out using up all the emergency supplies was sad too, his brother hated living at home so much that he lived in a bug out and never told his family about it or how he need help. I know a lot of people might not feel the same way, but when Alyssa and her brother found their dog,  Kingston, and he had gotten in with another feral dog pack and he was...

Some of these series/books I'll probably never read are some people's favorite series and that's completely fine! The Caged Queen by Kristen Ciccarelli ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to take a few days to just let this amazing book sink in before I reviewed it. I recently read The Last Namsara and quite enjoyed it! I was thrilled to see there was going to be a sequel, The Caged Queen which I found out while reading, it's a companion to The Last Namsara, which means you can read the books in whatever order you'd like.   This story is about about Roa, Asha's brother's wife. So a while back I heard about this series and just decided it wasn't really a series I would be interested in.
