October Wrapup!

I traded someone on Twitter for an ARC of this book. I'm not sure what I was expecting to get from this book. It seemed like too much happened too fast in the end of this book, it seemed like the author was trying to tie up everything before the book got to 400 pages. Read my full review here!

Everything in this book was predictable and I found myself not really interested in the plot. There seemed to be lots of recurring sentences about the main character blacking out or fainting, which got tiresome.

This book was one of my most anticipated reads for fall, and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. There was a lot more happening in this book then I expected, and the plot really kept you on your toes.

I received an ARC of this book, and I enjoyed it, but it makes me extremely uncomfortable when characters make bad choices, over and over again. That said, I did enjoy the science parts of this book, I feel like there aren't a lot books with science being something someone has a passion for.

After reading this magnificent book, I had to take a few days just to let it sink in. This is the companion novel to The Last Namsara, but the author has written the books so that you can read them in whatever order you want and all of them match up at certain times in the book! I enjoyed this book so much and I cannot wait for the other companion novels to come out!

This is definitely a fall/Halloween read, it has a certain creepy aura to it. I liked the book, but I didn't love it. I felt like it was really lacking mystery and thrill, I felt bored with who committed which crimes, and basically I was beginning to just want it to be over.

It seemed like nothing happened in this book! I kept waiting for a plot to develop or at least something happen, but it never did! I have a whole rant post that is going to posted soon, where I'll be discussing all my thoughts on this entire trilogy.

This was an easy read, but I just wanted more plot. It seemed like half of the plot was just Abby waiting in her room for the supervillian and trying to figure out who he was. One thing I was not expecting, was the amount of high school scenes and theater in this book, it shocked me.

This book completely exceeded my expectations. It was one of those books where I could vividly see every single detail of the house and other spots in this book. I loved this book and I love the way White writes.

It hurts my heart to put two stars for this book. I wanted to love this book as much as I loved Strange the Dreamer, but it just fell short. The plot was barely there in this book, and when it did finally develop, it was only in the last 100 pages.
