Turtles All The Way Down by John Green and Made You Up by Francesca Zappia Both of these books deal with mental illness, and most times writing mental illnesses is really tough, but these two authors got it right. 2. Best Sequel You've Read So Far in 2018? Case for Jamie by Brittany Cavallaro I absolutely loved this sequel! It picked up a couple months after The Last of August and the author did an amazing job of tying up the loose ends in the second book.  2. New Release You've Haven't Read, But Want To?   Fawkes by Nadine Brandes  I've heard such amazing things about this book and I want to read so badly! ★ ★ ★ 100 Days by Nicole McInnes I found most of the characters and story line to be very cliche. The small love triangle with the threesome seemed thrown in last minute. The writing overall was alright, although I'm not sure I would recommend this book to someone.     ★ ★ ★ ★ Study in Charlotte, The Last of August, The Case for Jamie by Brittany Cavallaro   I fell in love with the first book, so I picked up the sequels. The Last of August disappointed me and was VERY confusing, I didn't understand some of the story until the next book. I will tell you that The Case for Jamie, made up for the confusion and lack of actual plot in The Last of August. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Daughter of Deep Silence by Carrie Ryan I  loved this book! It was an amazing story and interesting plot. I didn't put it down and finished it in one sitting. I definitely recommend it to everyone who likes a little mystery, but that's not the main focus.  ...
