“Each scar marks me as a survivor. A warrior of the wild.”

I'll be honest and let you know that this wasn't one of my anticipated reads for 2019, it was just available at my library so I requested it!

The writing in this book was amazing and it was one of those books that painted a vivid scene in my head while reading it, which doesn't seem to happen very much in YA books now a days.

I loved every aspect of this book! The characters were all written so well, and I loved Iric and Soren, they were just kind characters who were willing to help for no reason at all!

The whole quest of each of the characters was probably what brought this whole book together, especially the plot twist with the god at the end, which was an amazing twist!

Overall, this book was amazing and definitely one my best 2019 reads so far!
