Sometimes you read a book and you just don't know how you're going to be able to put into words every single thing you liked in that book? Yeah well, Descendant of the Crane is definitely one of those books, but I'm going to try and make a coherent review!
I absolutely adored this book! It was such an intriguing book and it was always keeping me on my toes. While reading this book, it seemed like a little bit of a fantasy mystery book, which was really interesting to read.
It was amazing to see such a variable of characters in this book instead of the cookie-cutter characters or trio in fantasy. Sometimes in fantasy when you get introduced to lots of characters at one time, it can be confusing but Joan He was able to execute it flawlessly.
Without getting too deep in without spoilers, I'll just say that I totally adore all the relationships Hesina has in this book, friendships and all. Lilian was another brilliant character in this book and it was just so nice to see happy royalty relationships in books.
Overall, I adored this book and I'm still having a hard time getting over everything that happened in this book.
