August Wrapup

I felt like the book kept going on and on,  I started to lose interest half way through the book.
I did like the dragons, who doesn't like dragons? I just wish this book had ended before some major parts happened, leaving me waiting for the next book.

This book destroyed me. These two had problems with mental illness, and they both struggled with them in their own way, which broke my heart.

I won a Goodreads Giveaway for this book and I have to say, this book is extremely cliche. I feel like there was no actual meaning to this book, about 20 pages in, I was ready for it to be over. I could tell that this author does not usually write YA fiction. I found the situations and actions of the characters did not feel like something teenagers would do. This book was only 265 pages, it felt like it was an eternity.

I had no clue what this book was about going to in, yet I loved every single second of it. Taylor has a lyrical way of writing, and about every paragraph there was a quote that I loved. I cannot wait for the sequel. Read my full review here!

I felt cheated out of the ending. This was a cute take on a contemporary and despite the things I didn't like, I still enjoyed it.

This book was so insta-love, but I loved it anyways. I loved the little stories on the side, how little things in people's lives can impact them in the present or the future. I know this book was nowhere near realistic on the falling in love in a day, but it was realistic in other ways.

I'm not sure what the moral of this book was. I don't have much to say about this book, but I felt like there wasn't any actual story. I kept waiting for it to be over.

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
I don't have much to say, except that there was really any story or goal in this book, which made me feel like it was just them talking and hanging out more and more. I wanted there to be a goal or some obstacle that had to go through. I was left wanting more story or plot.

Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart

This book is so much like Everless it's not even funny. There were a few things I liked, such as the adorable sister relationship and the groups sticking together throughout rough times, but overall it was a letdown. Read my full review here!

I wasn't a big fan of the Darkest Minds series to begin with, but this book's synopsis intrigued me. I enjoyed this book so much more then I did any of the other books in the series.  Read my full review here!

I enjoyed this book, it was an interesting take on royal fiction.  I did find the plot twists a little predictable, but overall it was a fun read. Read my full review here!

Throughout most of this book, I was very confused with what was happening and for what reason. The love interest was dry and the plot twists weren't really plot twists. Read my full review here!

This book was a disappointment, the author tried so hard to make this book emotional and in that process it looks like she tried too hard.
