Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor ★ ★ The fact that this book let me down hurts my heart to no end. I loved Strange the Dreamer, as you could probably tell by  my review.  If you follow me, you would know that I read this book in less than 48 hours, because I was excited for this book! It just really let me down. So much that happened in this book I didn't sign up for and not in a good way. There was so much terror, abuse, and even more sadness then I expected. I would've enjoyed Nova and Kora's story more, if they've been introduced in the first book. It was hard to feel for these characters that you just met, when you had these well-known characters from the first book.   Something that was lacking in this book was plot, it just was not there. It seemed like the only important parts of the book were in the last 150 pages. The rest of the book was a lot of backstory and unnecessary sitting around. There would've been more going on i
